was that an MRCI chart, or LowRisk chart? I'm pretty sure i've seen the chart..tho it may have been a little while ago. I'de like to see an updated one anyway if you have it...i think the odds are huge that an event like that could be forecast through a short term parallel

My post, and chart, was more in the context of longer term rhythms, and also as a forward looking model. the fact that the similarities, and cycles, have been generally in sync with the Nikkei model for 3-4 YEARS now is telling, and quite validating, imo. Also, many current mkt TD cycle counts are foreshadowing a mild pullback here as well in DEC O/E...maybe a bit more...right along with the Nikkei model.

also fwiw The specialist Short Ratio was at much higher levels preceding the Oct 87 crash...near 45%, and was as high as 50% 6-8 weeks in advance....which btw is a Major I/T sell signal

this week it's 30.7% and has been under the 35% level for many weeks now....8 weeks i believe, and was at all time record low areas 4 weeks ago(This is a 2 week lagging indicator)

I think the upcoming pullback, if it happens, should be a mild affair but still playable.
