That is not what the popular vote said in 2000 and this time in 2004, no matter what, the Americans will say the same story as they did with the popular. The only difference will be that this time they will say beyond a reasonable doubt. Your claim is not supported by the election of Conservative Governors in interim elections nor is it supported by net gains by Conservatives in the House and Senate in 2000 and 2002. Did I mention the first governor re-called in recent history, Davis, a Democrat in CA.
