"It's based on what Korean consumers want, being the leaders in wireless data consumption ...." Korea is poised to overtake the market leader with 2G, 2.5G and 3G hardware in 5 years. No shortage of cash to be earned there. Claiming a 4G crown now is like winning a beauty pageant after a contaminated buffet put everyone but you in the hospital. It doesn't lend you credibility or pay dividends on your research investment if no one is buying about fifty million handsets a year and experience exponential growth. The irony is the PDA market transforming to replace handsets in the next 5 years will build my near-term investment. Forget Korea. The world will be gobbling up 3G handsets by the hundreds of millions while we wait for competitive 4G handsets.
