Lizzie, we moderates and liberals unlike the diehard right, know a good candidate when we see one. I know Bobby (Piyush) Jindal and worked a little on his campaign such as fundraisers etc. Even though he is a Republican, I still supported him. But then we have the rightists saying that Bush has a lock on the WH in 2004 because of all the Republican victories.

Gosh, the reason Arnold won in California is because his victory personifies popular dissent. That is why Bush/Rove has maintained a distance from him and do not want to be seen with him. When Arnold visited DC, whom did the networks photograph him with? Ted Kennedy and not Bush or Cheney!!!!

Besides, the Kennedy's were very prominent during his inauguration. Do you think if Arnold speaks out against liberal positions such as same sex marriage and gay rights, his Kenneydisque wife will let him in the house. California voted for Arnold so that they can repeat what they did in the Presidential election in 2000 where the networks called that the state went to Gore, 3 minutes after the polls closed.
