Well, I was a Republican my whole life. I voted for Bush. And Bush has alienated me from the Party. I am convinced I wasted every vote I ever made for a Republican, including for Reagan. He never did what he promised either. None of them EVER have. Smaller government? It will never happen. There is no reason to vote for the Party of the rich because they will never give me smaller government or any other carrot they dangle in front of me. Bush has betrayed us. He is rushing to give away as much of America as he can to his rich buddies while they prosecute Martha Stuart because she is a Democrat. Every time there has been a Republican since Carter they started out with a recession. Then stoke the economic fires for the election with massive increases in the money supply. The best economy I have seen in my adult life was under Clinton. For all his faults he was doing that right. I am no blind party loyalist.
