If all is fulfilled there is no NEXT on the agenda Alan. That is the biggest hurdle for men to accept these truths. They feel like they have suddenly taken a "back seat" in the agenda of God. We live in the New heaven and Earth - that is not a back seat. Personally, I am happy to live in this time in the land. I have personally suffered no war - no real poverty ( we ate a lot of porridge when I was a kid)- a lot of freedom and technological toys (including the internet) We have better means of studying God's word - electronic bibles and the writings of those who looked at these things before us. Unfortunately - we do not avoid what all men have had to suffer. False doctrine and concepts handed down through tradition - including futurism. Alan - we have been set free from the death inherited in the curse. Looking for a release from physical death is an error. We must return to dust even as did Adam but Adam did NOT die physically on the day he ate that forbidden fruit. The Jews missed Christ - they looked for a physical kingdom. Furutist also miss the second coming of Christ - they look for a physical kingdom. Luke 17:20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Christ's kingdom is not of this world - it is in it - not of it. It is here now and accomplished - there is no NEXT. It is right under your nose.
