The new testament was written mostly in greek wasn't it? The old testament was written in Hebrew I believe.

Where there are direct contradictions such as the reign of Christ being forever and ever or having an end as revealed in 1 Corinthians 15 I have to say that I will try to find a better translation. Rotherham's emphasized is an excellent choice. Concordant literal new testament is also very good.

The translation of the bible needs to have some consistency. Do a search on aion sometime. The KJV has numerous words all rendered from aion.

Have a good one James.
