"Credit's about all he's got, since nobody up there seems to have any cash left after the government takes what it deems to be its share." I seem to remember that the US has one of the highest rates of charity donation in the world. But it also has an atrocious prison confinement ratio. Why is that, do you think? Do you think Americans are just more criminal by nature? I don't think so.
