Of course... and if they can get the dollar to run... they got a double pop in the markets!

Hi Vi,

RE: $

When the Euro came out it was worth $1.17.It dropped to almost $.80.

Why do all the people talk about the weak dollar when all it actually has done is reversed to the Mean?

Bob

In my humble opinion it is still too high to the Yen and of course Chinese deflated/pegged money.

The game of trade deficits for treasurey debt held by central banks results in wealth sharing with those who play the game. Those who play get growth and manufacturing while we get no inflation and nice cheap products.

Europe isn't playing the game and wallah their currency gets back to the median.

Its no surprise they are not on our gravy train i.e. Iraq war - no more pimping western technology to the Arabs. Thus let them deal with structural problems and no markets to "compete"in.As their currency and deficits go higher. Here is a falling in the making for sure.

This is perhaps what will make the dollar look strong in the future?
