Tuna here is the news on CRDM - DJ Cardima/Canada -2: License Relates To Microcatheter Pdt

WASHINGTON (Dow Jones)--Cardima Inc. (CRDM) received notice on Monday that Canada regulators won't suspend the medical device license for its Revelation microcatheter products, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The Medical Devices Bureau of the Health Products and Food Branch of Health Canada acknowledged receiving adequate information submitted by the company in response to concerns that the products no longer met some safety and effectiveness requirements.

The license at issue was for Cardima's Revelation Microcatheter, T-Flex and Helix products, which are ablation microcatheters used to treat atrial fibrillation, or irregular heartbeats.

The devices bureau initially sent notice to the company in July and postponed a decision on the license in September before reaching its final decision Monday, the filing said.
