I have a running battle with my husband about this. I pronounce it SIZM.
I think that the dark powers have managed to get SKISM accepted.

Then there's also schism with a soft ch, almost sshism. Leaving out all the accent marks, the American Heritage dictionary allows either sizem or skizem. Webster's 2nd International, the good one before the Third came out and destroyed the dictionary, allows only sizm. The OED, however, allows both sizem akd skizem. However, the etomology of the word is Greek, in which the words starts signa chi, and chi is a sort of guttural k sound, so skism is more accurate to its etomology.
