OT ...
with a bit of on topic at the bottom of the post

>>>> has all this made you any less cantakerous?

whaddayamean ???????

I'm a sweet old doddering dummy, just as I've always been.

as to the $30 bucks, I appreciate the offer, but I now only watch things on tv that Tavi wants to see, and, unfortunately, she is a tad young for lingerie ..... more into footed jammies and diapers and four oz bottles

btw, AND I know this is of absolute NO use to you, and mayhaps even to MOST of the others here ------
there is a product which was new to me since I have last used baby bottles
but, this one is FANTASTIC

Dr Brown's Baby Bottle
handi-craft.com

it is one weird looking thing
the first thing anyone I've shown it to is -----
"how does it work and WHAT is that THING down the middle ...." ?????????
I'm telling you it is strange looking,
and
it took me more than a few minutes of experimenting with one to see how it functions ....
really strange..
but IT WORKS GREAT

I've told a couple of other grandparents about this product who have grandkiddies which DO NOT have projectile vomiting *(as does Tavi)
and they have raved about it

a single unit is pricey ... verrrrrry pricey matter of fact in comparison to other bottles ....
best buy I was able to find was a three pack of bottles with two nipples for each bottle for around $13 bucks

the nipples come in level 1, level 2, level 3, and a Y cut (for cereal) at around a buck and a half each

Tavi kinda takes after me -----
big bones and FAT (hehehehehehe)
and she is currently 14 weeks old today and 14+ lbs and using a level 3 as we have to put a tablespoon of rice cereal into her formula to thicken it up some to retard the projectile hurling

anyway ....
I'd be willing to bet that IF any of the Zers recco this baby bottle to any of their family, there will be many thanks from the parents who use this bottle

cuts WAAAAAAAAAY down on the inhalation of air, and makes feeding time looooooooots easier for the baby

Tavi only comes up with a single burp per 2oz of formula and I can't say enough about the bottle .....

now, as is well known here on the Zthread, I'm the original elcheapo .... reaaaaaaaly reaaaaaaaly FRUGAL

this is money well spent .....
===========================================================
back onto a market related basis

I'm in the process, most likely after Christmas, in setting up a trading/investing account for Tavi ....
am considering a ten grand "buy in" and going from there ...
mayhaps I'll have enough time to post what/when/why here on the account

won't be a daytrade account, but, will reflect some of my ability, or lack thereof to make her some education money

>>>>>>> cantakerous .......

NOT ME ...... EVER ...
