Drill From To Interval Gold Silver Gold- Structure ----- ---- -- -------- ---- ------ ----- --------- Hole equivalent ---- ---------- (metres)(metres)(metres) (g/t) (g/t) (g/t, Au + Ag/100) LMR-14 64 118 54 0.079 62 0.70 Veta Minitas 132 146 14 0.129 72 0.85 Veta Minitas DFR-01 28 102 74 0.650 283 3.48 Dome Fault including 28 42 14 2.507 951 12.01 Dome Fault 162 174 12 2.861 222 5.08 Carmen 194 202 8 0.753 23 0.98 Carmen Drill hole DFR-01 is the first hole drilled from northwest across the Dome Fault, a structure which merges with the Carmen structure. The Dome Fault has been traced for 190 metres, and may extend beyond in both directions. The current interpretation assigns several of the previously-reported intersections from this vicinity to the Dome Fault structure instead of the Carmen. As indicated in the table above, the upper intersection in DFR-01 belongs to the Dome Fault structure; the lower intersections to the Carmen. True width on the Dome Fault intersection, measured on cross section, is estimated to be about 45 metres. The significant aspects of DFR-01 are: 1) The Dome Fault structure is now expected to make a major contribution to the resources of the Carmen deposit 2) Hole MTR-19, (78 metres of 3.29 g/t Au , 9 g/t Ag) which recent drilling had shown to be cut off to the northwest, is now thought to belong to the Dome Fault structure not the Carmen. The intersection in MTR-19, which was drilled oblique to the Dome Fault, is therefore believed to extend to the northeast and southwest, not the southeast. Readers are cautioned that the understanding of this zone is in its early stages. At this stage there is uncertainty as to its true width, extent and potential. To see the relationship between the Carmen and Dome Fault ("El Domal") structures please see the maps published on Kimber's website (www.kimberresources.com/property/Monterde/maps/). Results are awaited from four more holes from the recent program. Two of them are on the Dome Fault, two on the Veta Minitas structure. Robert Longe, P.Eng., President 28 November, 2003
