I watch Letterman quit a bit. I don't think the Bush spots are at all harsh. I think they're kind of endearing - humanizing. He did have a pretty good zinnger on Bush's trip to Iraq.

Said he had dinner with the troops - $3000 a plate.

Now that's pretty mean but you gotta admit, it's funny.

The Daily Show can be pretty funny but he drops in these harsh mean spirited jabs all over the place that are so jarring, I just can't watch it.

And I watched ABC's Nightline last night. They spun every
aspect of the ambush in Samarra in as negative a light as
possible. If I didn't know better, I would have thought
that our troops were the ones responsible for the ambush &
that they were the "real" enemy.

I watched the opening of "The Late Show" night and Dave had a series of outtakes of Bush that were designed to demean him.

But I have to admit, they're funny. ;)

The problem is that the country likes the conservative ideas better than the liberal ones. They are trying to "Shoot the Messenger."

The gnashing of teeth will be unbearable if Bush wins in 2004. You know the refrain will be "proves how stupid Americans are."
