Right, the PPIC et al prefers to send us into dangerous territory by promoting SUVs, Hummers and other gas guzzling status symbols.

It takes 98 TONS of organic material to make 1 gallon of gasoline. That equates to approximately 1300 Shrubs (or any other 150 lb. man or woman or squash) for a single gallon of gasoline. That equates to approx. 10,500 Shrubs to run a Hummer a single mile.

Ooops.

Shrubbery et al are the most short-sighted people ever.
