"I've spent more time cleaning up latrines than he did flying." Mr Heldt has done a fine job of reviewing those records that are available under the Freedom of Information Act, including Bush's 12 month AWOL in 1972-73 during the Viet Nam War. I recall a news article about Bush's refusal to take a drug test having something to do with his resignation. Know anything about that? When did Bush swear off drugs and booze? Recidivism for alcoholics and drug abusers is quite high and all we need is for this drunken drug addict to fall off the wagon during an international incident and god knows Bush starts enough of those. If Bush makes it through his term without hitting the bottle he could replace Kirstie Alley as the spokesperson for NarcAnon. I wonder what his quoted slogan might say?
