It is this kind of arrogance (using the UN when you need it and overriding it when you don't) that has resulted in us ending up isolated in the desert. Great job, RWE's! Pass on our heartfelt thanks to your Supreme Leader Chosen By God, Dumbya!

The main reason we went to Iraq was so that the Bush-monkey could play full-time "commander in chief" instead of being president. It's such a simpler role, fit for a simple man, a "C" student president. It must have been obvious to all around him that he had been failing as a president, but after 9/11, he could play the "commander in chief" role. So, lets have a perpetual "War on Terrorism". If it actually recruits MORE terrorists, it's all good! Everybody have some turkey! Bring 'em on!

Largely true... but --- apparently --- some 'UN resolutions' are more 'important' than others :)

(To us, anyway... if not to the UN.)

Can you name the TWO countries who are in breach of the MOST UN resolutions?

(Answer for the bored: Israel and Morocco.)

I never thought I'd see this administration actually try to use a UN resolution to justify anything --- the way they spit and seem to run away from the UN at every opportunity, and the way they ran against the UN in the election campaign....

But then again, then ran loudly against "nation building" too , didn't they?

Apparently, you where not on this planet when the Bushies kept up a daily mantra about WMD and by inference asscociated Saddam with 911.... The "main" reason you cite was never a main reason. When the WMD reason was exposed as BS, the main reason became Operation Iraqi Liberation....
