I spent 3 years in Khobar, Mubarraz & Abqaiq ak. There is a genuine fear in the Eastern province of the Persians. I referred to the gulf as the Persian Gulf, and it was duly pointed out to me that it was the Arabian Gulf......never made that mistake again. Mecca/Medina is worth fighting for as far as the Persians are concerned.
