I see you are still feverishly supporting Israeli aggression and murder.

By the way, Iraq had no nuclear weapons program in 1981. After Israel assaulted Iraq, Saddam decided he needed to get nukes to defend himself against people like you.

I never argued that UN resolutions were 'correct' or 'not correct'... just that it was MIGHTY FUNNY to hear the Bush II administration trumpeting the almighty importance of their one and a half resolutions --- all while ignoring any of the other resolutions they disagree with, and after running LOUDLY against the UN in the election campaign.

High satire indeed.

(You seem to be trying to ignore the points I raised, by bringing up other points of your own and hoping no one will notice... that's pretty funny too! I may be old, but I don't forget THAT rapidly....)

Re: "the US owes 1/3 of it's GNP to the UN".

>>> Don't hold your breathe.

>>> (Personally, I believe that there MUST be an international forum for the entire world to use for dispute resolution... just that there are some deep flaws in the UN's organization and structure that date from it's founding, and I don't see it gaining much in power until those flaws are resolved --- either by a replacement organization, or a reformed UN.)

>>> IMO, one of the main changes that needs to be made is a weighting mechanism for representation in the General Assembly... perhaps upon GNP grounds.
