I'll just have to say that the inspired Word says that "He will be giving up the kingdom to His God and Father" and that "He must reign until He has defeated all enemies. And "the Son Himself also shall be subjected to Him Who subjects all to Him, that God may be all in all.

I don't take the Word with "a grain of salt. That sounds like something someone would say when it doesn't accord with their beliefs. I go to church with a lot of people who say they take the Word with a grain of salt when it goes against free will.

Christ's reign ending is in perfect harmony with Hebrews 1:8 and Revelation 11:15 if the "ages" are understood. Christ reigns for the ages of the ages. Not "forever and ever", as the mainstream bibles say, as if that even makes inspired sense. Is God being redundant? Can you add to forever?

Also Brian, it makes it easier to follow if you reference your quotes with scripture. "Christ is a Priest forever" for example. I do enjoy following up on someone's comments by checking the scripture.

I think we need to look at Christ "giving up or handing over" in the spiritual light we have been given and not the light of this world.

I think we also need to see that it is God the Father who will be the "all" in all of us (1 Corinthians 15:28). All things are "of God, the Father", "through Christ".

1 Corinthians 8:6 Yet for us there is only one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, through whom we live.

Thanks for the discussion!!
