I like to call it socialized cost ( we pay ) and privatized profit........................ the money goes straight into the pockets of corporate AMeerica.

Instead of a social program that would benefit many and diversify the distribution of funds back into industry through natural selection via the free market economy, Bush elects to channel the money directly to corporate America.

Nothing that is done by those companies will be billed back to the gov't at cost.Instead, it will be charged back at 100 to 250 % profit on average.

I had to laugh at a couple Republicans arguing about the darn Iraqis that were charging Halliburton over 3.00 a gallon for oil when it only cost them 1.50 to get it to Halliburton..................the 3.00 was what Halliburton is charging us for the oil and has nothing to do with what the Iraqis are charging............gov't contracts are exercised at huge profits.

THe same will exist in the medicare "reform".
