I can't think of a single company in the history of mankind that has been "socialized" without becoming a bureaucratic, moribund, money-losing, pig that feeds at the taxpayer's trough.

In fact, even employee-owned companies, once hailed as the boon of the new economy, usually go through a short, shooting-star existence.

You socialists still don't get it, even after 100 years of failure. Go back to a Holland hash house and think about it.

Halliburton has been a true "pig at the trough" of gov't contracts. Cheney has been their gravy dispenser..........ever wonder why he got the job as CEO?...............connections, connections, connections and a mainline straight to the heart of the cash cow;ie, us.

I have always wondered how the so called right wing"Christians" could so easily support corporate welfare while they bashed the giving of money to the underprivileged and otherwise needy.

Everyone needs to make money in a capitalist society in order for that society to succeed. If most of the money remains in the hands of a few then anarchy will follow.
