That Kyoto pact sounds like a device to force the U.S. to pay $ to other countries (the "credits" part) If you can buy "credits", you can continue whatever you were doing, so what difference was made other than exchange of funds? Also, with no restrictions/effect on countries like China, what's the point? Sounds like we were right to reject it. just a few random thoughts provoked by the article.
