The bogeymen deficit came in SIGNIFICANTLY under expectations in fiscal, 2003 because the Bush tax cuts had BEGUN to grow the economy. Those tax cuts have now launched the economy on a Reaganesque moon shot.

The deficit can only be viewed in terms of it's % of national production-and in those relative terms is hardly worth even measuring. That is why Bush was correct in saying he would run deficits in times of recession, war, and national emergency.

Clinton's fatally-flawed era of occupation of the White House created all three. The Bush war efforts and tax cuts have begun the healing process from the Clinton disaster. The deficits are pee-holes in a snow bank, only to be used as phony propaganda by the Goldman Sachs bond whores and the Democrat domestic enemy...
