Thanks Raptech. I had read most of Langa's very informative articles.

Setting up and use is fairly easy and I highly recommend it if you use a laptop and move around or have several stations. I think I'm fairly secure according to most test. What I posted before pretty much takes care of anyone hijacking my signal.

I'm more concerned with security attacks from the internet as opposed to someone on the street. I use a firewall and NAV. However, sometimes I disable ZAP firewall because it slows down or stops streaming quotes.

So I was wondering if the port forwarding procedure (which I don't understand) would help in this area. I assume that my current use of the default port settings results in a configuration which is fairly safe as there seems to be little written about it. For example, it seems that most internet access is over Port #80. I guess I just don't understand this and am a bit paranoid relative to security. If everyone's system uses 80, is it easy for someone to address that port and do something nasty to your system?
