It's not just about Israel and Jews. This provides the convenient target and allows the passive Euros to breathe sighs of relief while the debate revolves about whether Israel is the cause of the terrorists' hatred. Of course this is bogus.

If there were no Israel, the cowardly terrorists would have some excuse to go after the West. Perhaps it would be based on the relationship with Saudi Arabia. Perhaps it would be because of friendship with Jordan or Egypt or Nigeria or Morocco or Turkey.

Or it just might be because they want a theocracy in all Arab nations.

Or even further, perhaps it would be the desire for a Muslim theocracy throughout the world.

France, for example, now has a huge Muslim population. It wouldn't surprise me to see closer ties and more ignoring of terror. Of course, after a few hits on French soil, those who warble prolific about non-violent responses to terror, may change to a less melodious tune.
