The linkage between food and disease is not agricultural funding (mercy!). The linkage is in the behavior of overeating and failure to exercise regularly.

OIC, first you are God, then you are the Voice of Reason and now you claim to be the expert in the link between obesity and agricultural funding. Lack of food = thin people. Overabundance of food = fat people. Exercise will only get you so far. It is the absence of calories that will cause someone to lose weight.

I imagine that subsidizing food (or the not growing of food which happens also) has some effect on obesity in the US. I don't know the size of the effect but neither do you.

...apparently inexhaustible supply of thin air between your ears

Now that's a reasoned argument.
