Boeing takes $20 mln stake in Richard Perle's fund - FT By Carolyn Pritchard
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS.MW) -- Boeing (BA: news, chart, profile) took a $20 million
stake in the investment fund run by Pentagon advisor Richard Perle, according to a
published report. The aerospace and defence giant told The Financial Times it made
the investment in Trireme Partners last year as part of a broad strategy to invest in
companies with promising defence-related technologies. Boeing said it had no
knowledge that Perle had advised the company on a controversial $18 billion deal to
lease refueling aircraft tankers to the US Air Force, or other Pentagon-related matters,
according to the FT.

Hey, how many months after Clinton's threats was it before Saddam kicked out the UN inspectors? Shows you what empty machismo gets you, huh?

BTW, you think Saddam is pulling for Hillary to get in the race? You know, he still has a big chunk of that billion dollars he stole just before the war. Maybe he could team up with George Soros and Harold Ickes to help them fund the anti-Bush campaign. I bet Chiraq would chip in, too. Then if Hill wins, she can pardon the French gov't and Chiraq's buddy Francois Pinault so they won't have to stand trial in California for insurance fraud. She could pardon Saddam, too, and let him sleep over in the Lincoln bedroom. Only one night, though - he never sleeps the same place two nights in a row. ;-)
