I've recently begun to get an IE warning in a box which says, "A script on this page is causing Internet Explorer to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive. Do you want to abort the script?" Button for yes and no.

If I click on yes, the program seems to stop running and I can't execute the normal shutdown procedure.

Can anybody help me with what this script thing means and what I can do to rid my Windows98 system of it? Thanks.
