Saudi Arabia's interior ministry named 26 suspects, mostly nationals, who it said were involved in terror acts, and posted financial rewards for information leading to their arrest, a foreign news agency reported on Sunday.

Security forces have identified a number of individuals involved in terror acts that took place in the kingdom in the past few months, said the interior ministry in a statement broadcast on state-owned television and carried by the official news agency.

The ministry said it would also publish the photographs of the wanted suspects, who include 23 Saudis, two Moroccans and a Yemeni.

The ministry said a reward of seven million riyals (1.9 million dollars) would be paid to anyone providing information that would stop a potential attack and five million riyals (1.36 million dollars) to anyone who comes forward with information leading to the arrest of a group of the wanted suspects and other ‘terror elements’.

Information leading to the arrest of one of the suspects will be rewarded with one million riyals (272,000 dollars), according to the statement.
