I disagree. It would take new jobless claims down to 200,000 to produce 250,000 new jobs a month. It won't happen. Interest rates have already started back up.

We have seen the highest growth in business in 20 years and job growth is barely moving. What happens when business growth slows down? (i.e. as a result of higher interest rates)

Add that to the fact that many of the new jobs are going overseas.

HFE's Shepherdson believes if the current employment index level were sustained, "it would be reasonable to expect payroll growth to accelerate to more than 250,000 per month over the next few months."
