I'm not too surprised about the upmove I assume you mean the down on the naz and SPX, as the Dow was green yesterday, but looking at the 15-minute and the hourly SPX my charts show the single-line MACD bottoming out at yesterday's close, so it looks like it was due for a bounce of some sort. Maybe today's high will be a lower high of some kind, or maybe we're not through with the move up from the late November low, but the degree of yesterday afternoon's downmove seems to argue against the latter idea.
