I thought it was a dirty deal when Carter first backed away from the stand for Taiwan independence when he was President. Now Bush is waffling, as has every President since Carter. Nixon actually was probably the one to start this trend. It's because Taiwan is a New World Order issue and freedom is not a concern with the NWO. Just spheres of influence and Taiwan falls in China's sphere of influence so according to the NWO it belongs to China. Carter is a Tri-Lateral Commission member. George Bush senior formed the Tri-Lateral Commission. Bush senior is also very involved with the Council on Foreign Relations. Both groups push the NWO to eventually dominate the planet with one global governing authority. And the CFR is the shadow government in the US. Taiwan has no political backing anymore. They are out there alone. I have read that China really does not have the expertise to put an army on Taiwan soil. They can't handle an amphibious landing. They can only bluff and bluster with their missiles and threats.
