<<Wonder what INTC will have to do to impress?>>

What's been happening is nothing but down on "good news", maybe what we need is some "bad news";-)

I guess perhaps the feeling is, can it last..

May be it is one or two quarter event.. With all the gains this year and where the share prices are compared to growth, mood might be take your money and run.. Just my .02 worth..

There is some talk that a couple of large hedge funds have been getting their butts kicked this year and are doing everything in their power to knock down this market. A break on the S+P above 1081 looks like it would be a clear signal to go up to 1160-70, which would only cause greater pain for those funds who have been hammered by the upswing. I think we are seeing some "lines in the sand" being drawn by a few heavy bears who can't come to grips with this rising market. They will be able to hold up the march north for only so long, imo.
