This will be a very weak point for Dean if he lets things stay put for too long.

Right-o, unlike executive privilege, classified documents, national security blankets where Shrubbery hides everything including Cheney.

worldnetdaily.com

"...Burton, who accused the administration of behaving like a "monarchy," said "the legislative branch has oversight responsibility to make sure there is no corruption in the executive branch."..."

theage.com.au

"..President George Bush refused a personal appeal from top Saudi officials to declassify sections of the congressional report on the September 11 attacks - rejecting complaints that their country has been unfairly accused..."

usatoday.com

"...The clash over classified intelligence comes as Bush is under fire for disputed claims about Saddam Hussein's nuclear weapons program that he repeated in his Jan. 28 State of the Union speech. His assertion that Iraq had tried to purchase uranium from an African nation had been challenged by the CIA.

Some of Bush's political rivals would like to link this new flap to the uranium controversy. "The White House is creating the impression it has something else to hide," Sen. Joe Lieberman, D-Conn. a presidential candidate, said Tuesday. "The president should come clean on the report."
