I am a member of the "investor class" as I am sure you are aware.

No, you are a member of an effete group of self-professed intellectuals who made a lot of money during the bubble that never should have happened in the first place, are unhappy that your wonderland fizzled out like a roman candle, and want the rest of us to subsidize your industry so you can re-live in your former glory.

Now you're angry because reality has set in, and you lash out at Bush because he's not catering to your special interest, which really isn't in very high demand right now, and because your inflated sense of self-importance isn't being catered to.

Got news for you: Most people don't give a flying f*ck about programmer-types. You don't have a glorious history of sacrifice and loss like coal miners, steel workers, and the like. You appeared on the scene, were treated as Gods for awhile, wrote your own tickets, then were replaced as your own industry found easier and cheaper ways of doing things, as most industries do and always have.
