Clark is very impressive, better and better. But none of the candidates are going to get anywhere near 40-50% of the delegates on the first run. That means endorsements will mean everything. Guys like Lieberman, Kerry, Edwards and Gephardt will have 10-15% of the delegates each. Together, they could decide who the nominee is. Very unlikely they would get behind Dean. That leaves things wide open. If Clark performs well enough, maybe he gets it. Otherwise enter Al Gore to stop the squabbling.
