Not a single moderate has endorsed Dean that I know of.
Can you think of any? He's got people like Jesse jackson Jr. and Rob Reiner behind him. Those are far left liberals. Reiner is very-very idealistic, a liberal's liberal. He's the biggest Dean supporter in California that I know of.
The unions Dean got were also the most low-income and least white. So he's got the pacifist utopian intellectuals and the Jesse Jackson types, including many who supported Nader in 2000. He would have to expand WAY beyond that to have any chance.

If you consider yourself moderate-conservative, you've got the wrong candidate.
