EVERY SHEKEL FOR THE SETTLEMENTS IS A SHEKEL AGAINST PEACE

Another bigot???

"From now on, there will be in Europe a clear
separation between the products of Israel, which
are exempted from custom duties, and the products
of the settlements, which are not.

The Sharon government has given in to the
European Union's demand that the place of origin
must be clearly marked on the products of the
settlements.

This is a milestone in the struggle for the realization
of the two-state solution.

THE SETTLEMENTS are the main obstacle to peace.

THE SETTLEMENTS impose on all of us an eternal
war, a sea of blood and tears.

THE SETTLEMENTS have caused the deviation of
the "separation wall" deep into the West Bank,
where it destroys the life of hundreds of thousands
of Palestinians and raises another tidal wave of
hatred, here and around the world.

Every shekel for the settlements is a shekel against peace.

Six years ago, Gush Shalom declared a boycott
against the products of the settlements. We called
upon the Israeli public to abstain from buying them.
We distributed the list of the products. Many tens of
thousands of Israelis asked for them for themselves
and distributed them among friends and
acquaintances. Many tens of thousands of families
have joined the boycott.

During all that time, Europe has closed its eyes and
continued to indirectly finance the settlements.

Now that is over.

We demand that the products of settlements
marketed in Israel, too, should be marked, so that
every citizen will be able to decide for himself
whether he wants to buy them or not.

We call upon the enterprises beyond the Green
Line to transfer their activities at once to Israel
proper and to inform the public accordingly.

We shall stand watch to ensure that no such
enterprise cheats the public and marks the
products with a false address.

The settlement adventure is nearing its end.

The settlers must be brought home.
Fair compensations must be paid to them.

For their own good.
For our good.
For the good of our state.
For peace.
