Gov Rendall was on Chris Matthews show last night. said the EU threat was a big bluff. imo opinion Bush wouldn't have gotten Pa in the next election anyway. He didn't lose anything in Pa. It is going to more democrat. All the counties surrounding Philly are getting more and more democrat where they used to be republican. some are already democrat strong holds. Forget the major cities pittsburgh and Philadelphia. He did the right thing. I also doubt west virgina will hurt him. Many support the war there and in Pa. but overall he gets more votes than he loses. imo

oh, Chris asked Rendall who he supports.. Lieberman but in his usual laugh he comes out behind Dean. I think Rendall supports Lieberman until he gets out and then falls behind Dean. More and more it is looking like Dean fights Bush.
Bring it on!

IMO removing the tariffs is a slight political positive. As evidence I cite two front page stories in the liberal newspaper in our liberal community, whose economy is tightly bound with the steel making industry:

Without tariffs, mines will go on
[Don't worry, this isn't going to hurt that much in the short term]

From pipe benders to ship agents, tariffs hurt some area businesses
[This is actually good for a lot of folks here]
