I said, "He said something to the effect of, and then proceed with a mis-quote, within quotation marks, "...the UK has provided info on attemped purchases from Africa"..." Here is the quote from the SOTU... ". The British government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa." He only credited the Brits because his own inner circle knew the info was tainted....otherwise he would have taken credit himself.
