Under the Oslo Accords, it was agreed that Israel would collect sales taxes on goods purchased by Palestinians and transfer those funds to the Palestinian treasury. But instead, Indyk says, "that money is transferred to Yasser Arafat to, amongst other places, bank accounts which he maintains off-line in Israel."

Note: This is not some 'extremist' position. Palestinian and Arab opinion polls, on Al Jazeera.net for example, indicated in the past that support for the human bombs tactic runs upwards of ninety percent on the Arab street. Indeed, such human bombs are not only justified. Much more of them is needed. OK Len.... Then why isn't the Arab Street and Al_Jazeera and all the other Arab states offering sanctuary right here and now to the Palestinians , while they are homeless and bereft and in the midst of their dire plight ? I see no large outpouring of human brotherly charity or land being offered as temporary haven for these their Palestinian brothers ....do you see the outpouring of aid and homes/land being offered ? I don't and haven't ever seen it...and the truth is , well, you aren't interested in truth. But it does just make one wonder ... just an observation ...ahem . Allah is great.
