China is one smart gang
they are watching the mess created by funny money
first with Thailand and the Asian Meltdown in 1997
that meltdown has not been fully repaired even yet

Americans learn ABSOLUTELY NOTHING from history
China has a better and more patient perspective

they are watching also what happened to the US with debt and speculative explosions

I doubt China will repeat our mess
they have plenty of state-related bad loans
but they will deal with it, even cause domestic pain
they only have to worry about riots
but not unemployment
or running over people in public squares

this summer China raised bank reserve reqmts from 6% to 7%
that has led a damping effect on debt creation

they also cut export tax credits
that has slowed mfg a bit
CHINESE LEADERS ARE WAY WAY UNDERESTIMATED BY AMERICANS
I spoke over TGvg with an experienced retired Ohio banker
he called them "little grubby people, who work work work, and have no lives"
this is typical
I opened his eyes to many things, and now he is somewhat concerned
good thing, reality does that
