James > your thoughts on why there has not been one terrorist attack on U.S. soil since 9-11?

Firstly, there have been but you must have forgotten.

a. The Airbus which came down over Queens NY. One engine exploded, then both engines fell off, then the tail assembly fell off in one piece, then the plane crashed. The FAA said it was due to the "slipstream" from another plane which was 10 miles away. The matter was then hushed up.
b. The anthrax which was sent in the mail mainly to Democrat Congressmen and liberal journalists. The FBI tried to pin it on Dr Hatfill, who is an ex-Rhodesian, but I believe that a certain Dr Zack was actually responsible. The matter was then hushed up.

c. The recent incident(s) where two apparently crazy guys went round, mainly in Washington DC, shooting people at random from the trunk of their car. One, Mohamed, was recently sentenced to death. The sentence on the other is pending. I believe this was an isolated event and will not discuss it further.

Secondly, one must remember that terrorism is a tactic like, for example, an ambush or a blitzkreig. It is not a thing in itself. The terrorists, themselves, do not benefit from the attack. They are merely pawns in a much bigger game, just like ordinary soldiers are. They invariably are doing it because they have been told to by others and they do do it simply because they believe in the cause.

So, with this in mind we must ask (a) who do we know who would have done terrorist attacks on the US (b) who actually could have, considering the complexity and sophistication of those which we have seen, and (c) what would the benefit/purpose of the attacks have been?

I believe the answer to the first question (a) is
Muslims
Israelis
US

The answer to the second question (b) is
Iran and/or Libya
Israel
US

Answer to the third question (c) is
More disadvantage to any Islamic country than advantage
Definite advantage to Israel
Definite advantage to the US

The advantage to Israel is that the attacks have brought the US into a common war against Islam

The advantage to the US is that the attacks have facilitated the creation of the Amerikan Empire and, in particular, the occupation of Afghanistan and Iraq. They also consolidate the position of the US ally, Israel, in the MidEast.

Now, I am in a position to answer your question --- why haven't there been any more attacks?

The answer seems obvious --- the reasons for the original attack have been achieved. The US has joined Israel in a common war against Islam and the military moves in creating the Amerikan Empire are well underway.

There are is another, indirect, reason for the attack:
The Patriot Act and the Homeland Security Act, the purpose of which is to undermine the Bill of Rights of the American Constitution, have now been passed by Congress. As result of this, the President can now effectively do as he pleases with the American people and this includes expanding the war and calling for military conscription.

As I see it, there is only one reason now why a further attack could occur on US soil and that is if the American people look like they will strongly vote for the Democratic Party in the next election. If it is touch and go, then it won't happen because W can swing the result by means of the electronic voting system.

Indeed, in my opinion, 9-11 was the first major incident in the Second American Revolution.

James > There are too many odd things going on to make one wonder just who was responsible for 9-11.

>>>9/11 panel's air-defense probe grapples with many mysteries

As two hijacked jetliners bore down on New York City's World Trade Center on the morning of Sept. 11, 2001, two Air Force F-16 jet fighters were practicing bombing runs over an empty stretch of the Pine Barrens near Atlantic City.

The F-16 pilots had no idea of the impending tragedy in Manhattan, just eight minutes away in their supersonic jets.

Why? Why weren't they alerted? And even if they had been told about the hijackings, what could they have done?

The jets weren't armed to shoot down another plane. Their mission was bombing drills. Why?

Those questions and others loom at the heart of an even larger mystery: How could America's elaborate air defense system of satellites, radar, and supersonic fighters be caught so off-guard on Sept. 11? The mystery is now at the center of one of the most secret - and politically explosive - investigations being conducted by the bipartisan Sept. 11 commission.

NORAD is not the only target, however.

The commission is also looking into why it took about 20 minutes for civilian air traffic controllers to notify NORAD of the hijackings.

"We are in the process of interviewing pilots," a commission staffer said.

Even after learning of the hijackings, it took six minutes for NORAD to order F-15 fighters into the sky from Otis Air National Guard Base on Cape Cod - the "alert" base nearest to New York. After that, it took another six minutes for the jets to roar down the runway.

Then it took the jets 19 minutes to reach New York, raising this question: Did they fly at full throttle? At a top speed of almost 1,200 mph, an F-15 can reach Manhattan from Cape Cod in less than 12 minutes, NORAD says. Why did it take 19 minutes? By then, it was too late.<<<

Expect that they pin it on a scapegoat or else make another cover-up.

James, get ready to say good bye to the Democrats' chance of winning.

W's "secret weapon" appears --- Mr Ralph Nader. And bubbling with all the Libertarian jargon about civil liberties and freedom of speech. He can't win but he sure can mess up the Democrats' chances.
