Poor enough booze into it and nobody cares if they are eating fruit cake:)

True story: My Grandfather had a mason jar with the remains of a fruit cake wrapped in cheese cloth in it. His mother made it back in like the 30's when he got married. He would take it out every Christmas and cut off a a very small piece and have it and put it away for another year. Amazing. My mom threw it away when he died in 99. I thought she should have kept the tradition up but there wasn't much left at that point.
