Gore only said he was instrumental in getting funding to help kick-start the internet. Which was true. Even bill O'Reilly has noted that the right wing really pushed the envelope on that effort to discredit Gore by overstating what he said. This is typical of what I see lately, smearing the left with big and small lies, some that eventually stick. Check your facts and don't buy all that M. Savage and the other Conservative pundits claim.
