Hi Lizzie,

Thanks for the rustbelt report. I had no idea where the ad had been running. Was this a print media campaign or TV/radio?

W/R/T the economy, Bush will be pulling out all the stops to tell us just how wonderful things are. And indeed, things are shaping up to be heading in the right direction for Bush in terms of manipulating data on the jobs front, wages, etc. For the most part, the hollowing out of America's manufacturing sector is taking a heavy toll, but Bush will be able to paper over this glaring policy misdirection with tons of propaganda to reassure his faithful.

One of my goals is to get people to understand that the real war that is being waged today is not between the U.S. and terrorists. It is between amoral, uncaring corporations and real, human communities. Corporations are disloyal to America in the extreme, destroying the very reasons that we coalesced as a country. The corporations are shipping our jobs, our wealth and our potential futures offshore. Americans, if they truly believe that this nation state deserves to survive as a benevolent protector of the people, needs to seize the government from the corporations who have stolen the government through a massive system of fraud and graft.
