We got about 7" of the white powdery stuff. Everything
looks like a postcard now. And I hit the danged shed with
the snowball this time :-
The wife feels a cold coming on, so it looks like we
hunker down & watch a couple of movies tonight.

But then which ones?

Our cable company just started a new service called On
Demand. Since we get all the HBO's, Showtime's, etc, we
get a boatload of movies we can watch any time we want.
You can pause, FF, rewind just like a DVD too. And there
are more than a hundred other shows, shorts, etc., to
choose from (History channel, Biography, Motor Trend,
Discovery, DIY, etc.). Plus HBO & Showtime series like '6
Feet Under', 'Sopranos', 'Mind of the Married Man', etc.,
all on demand.

No extra charge for the service, except for a selection of
newly released movies that are also on Pay Per View. They
are giving one of them free each Wednesday night for
through December.

What to do?
