Gore might have stopped 9-11 because he would not have quashed investigations into the Saudis and if warned like Bush was he probably would have done something about it. Of course we'll never know, but jo one could have done worse than Bush before 9-11 who did absolutely nothing to protect us. All he could think and talk about was SDI. Never mentioned the word terrorism once.

Bush dismantled our counter-terrorism units when he came into power and ignored warnings about hijackings. He scuttled the FBI's ongoing investigations into Saudi funding of terrorism. He basically was AWOL on terrorism because he did not want any Clinton era people involved and wanted to protect the Saudis from scrutiny. proof of this is the 28 pages censored about the saudis in the 9-11 report and the fact that top saudis and Bin Lauden family members were allowed to be flown out of the country right after 9-11 when even Clinton's place was grounded. No flights allowed in the whole US except our military and rich Saudis fleeing the country including Osama's own cousins. Why? Before you call Clinton a "coward" versus terrorism, cofnront the facts about Bush's failures. Also, it happened on Bush's watch, not Clinton's.
