Bush was carrying a fake prop turkey in Iraq.

So what?

It was a cafeteria decoration for the holiday. Are you suggesting the Army shouldn't decorate its cafeterias for Thanksgiving?

Bush picked it up. Are you suggesting spontaneity is a character flaw?

The photos of that scene getting splashed across newspapers the next day enhanced his image. Are you suggesting politicians shouldn't allow image-enhancing photos?

I didn't hear you whining about Kerry riding his Harley onto Jay Leno's stage. Is there no limit to your sniveling hypocrisy?

The more I think about it, the more I think moveon.org should save the money and not bother with Bush commercials now, until it becomes more clear what the "swing states" really are.

They are playing the commercial in florida, nevada, ohio, missouri and west virginia. But look at the map about where these anti-Bush house parties happened over Iraq
moveonvoterfund.org

This map really says a lot. Look at Colorado! I don't think ohio or nevada are really swing states. One guy on the Dean thread is from Lake Tahoe/Reno area, that and LV are the only two densely populated areas in NV. Both LV and Tahoe are going to vote heavy environmental. LV's number one concern is the Los Alamos fallout.

Sheesh Bush really boxed himself in with all this special interest kowtowing, its amazing. He pissed off environmentalists, women, people who are generally against war, education types, the tech industry, california and labor. Who is left? The bible belt, yikes!
